Overview

Maintenance Toggle is a lightweight WordPress plugin designed to make it easy to put your website into maintenance mode. Whether you're performing updates, making changes, or need to temporarily take your site offline, this plugin provides a simple one-click solution.

Perfect for developers, site administrators, and anyone who needs quick control over their WordPress site's availability without diving into complex configurations.

Features

  • One-Click Toggle — Enable or disable maintenance mode with a single click from your WordPress admin dashboard.
  • Customizable Message — Display a custom message to visitors when your site is in maintenance mode.
  • Admin Access — Site administrators can still access the site while maintenance mode is active.
  • Lightweight — Minimal code footprint, won't slow down your site.
  • Easy to Use — Simple interface, no technical knowledge required.
  • No Configuration Needed — Works out of the box with default settings.

How It Works

After installing the Maintenance Toggle plugin, you'll find a new option in your WordPress admin dashboard. Simply toggle the maintenance mode on when you need to work on your site, and toggle it off when you're ready to go live again.

When maintenance mode is active, visitors will see a maintenance message instead of your regular site content. However, administrators and users with the appropriate permissions can still access the full site to make updates and changes.
